Rick MarshallVerticalGeo’s Founder and President is Dr. Rick Marshall.  Rick graduated from UCLA and then served 21 years as a  C-130 Navigator in the US Air Force. He received a Master of Arts Degree in Geography (GIS) from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and received his PhD from Saint Louis University.  He still maintains his ties to the Air Force through VerticalGeo as the Expeditionary GeoBase and GeoReach Program Manager for Headquarters Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.  He currently serves as the Industry Champion for ESRI’s St Louis Region Defense User Group, is a member of the Publications Committee for the GISCI, serves on the Mobile Mapping Committee for the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), and on the Publications Committee for the Illinois GIS Association (ILGISA).
